Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Energy Analyst Intern to join our dynamic Energy team in Amsterdam. This role will primarily focus on business analysis within the energy sector, involving due diligence, market regulation, and contractual assessments. The successful candidate will support various projects through data analysis and regulatory insight, contributing to Tesla’s mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy.
What You'll Do
- Conduct due diligence on energy projects, assessing financial, technical, and regulatory aspects
- Analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to generate actionable insights
- Develop ETL pipelines, dashboards, and workflow automation tools
- Build predictive models for anomaly detection and fleet health optimization
- Streamline processes and automate data handling, including ticket refinement and data extraction
- Perform data-driven investigations and root-cause analysis through analytical pipelines
- Maintain and improve energy market models and forecasts
- Monitor and interpret market regulations to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with contract negotiations, amendments, and compliance reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders
What You'll Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
- Experience or interest in electrical hardware systems and troubleshooting is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks, automation scripting and workflow orchestration
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with machine learning and applied analytics
- Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
- Passion for renewable energy and Tesla’s mission
