Your Opportunity
As Triton Environmental Consultants continues to grow, we are seeking driven, results-oriented Environmental Project Managers to join our established team of environmental professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity for junior and intermediate level project managers who are passionate about environmental consulting and eager to grow and advance their project management careers!
As an Environmental Project Manager at Triton, you will support and lead the successful delivery of meaningful, high-impact projects while developing strong client relationships, contributing to business development, and learning to mentor junior staff. You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, including government, First Nations, oil and gas, power, transportation, and industrial sectors. Your Impact
- Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks.
- Successfully managing project delivery through cost-efficient and timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintaining, establishing, and developing client relationships that facilitate the successful delivery of projects and future opportunities.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other consultants, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting corporate business development initiatives, including compiling and reporting on regional business development opportunities.
- Leading and/or helping to support the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
- Maintaining and supporting Triton’s industry‑wide reputation as a leader in the environmental consulting industry.
- Providing mentorship and training for our junior staff and for the environmental professional team.
- Provide excellent service to clients, building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships.
- Ensure safety standards are not just met but exceeded, protecting your team and clients.
- Collaborate effectively within Triton’s culture, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
- Experience working within the environmental industry sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience with provincial and federal environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and leading and supervising of project teams.
- Business development acumen (e.g., client relationships, strategic planning, proposal writing).
- A quick learner, easily adapting to new software applications, systems, and business processes.
- Effective writing skills and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals.
- Organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style.
- Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with strong strategic thinking skills.
- Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with a professional governing body and having a professional designation is preferred.

Your Compensation
Salary Range: $37 – 55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Location, Work Schedule & Flexibility
With offices across British Columbia and Alberta this position
offers opportunity to work out of various office locations such as Vancouver BC, Kamloops BC, Vernon BC, Terrace BC, Kitimat BC, Prince Rupert BC & Prince George BC, Calgary AB & Edmonton AB. Given the collaborative nature of this position, a hybrid work schedule is preferred, working on-site a few days per week.
