The Equipment Finance Specialist is a high-energy, sales-focused role designed for driven professionals looking to build a long-term career in the equipment finance industry. We also offer operating capital solutions to the people we service. This role is for people striving to earn a multiple 6 figure income while making a difference for the people we serve.

  • Earning potential exceeds $200,000.00 per year
  • Top producing salespeople can earn $350,000.00 to $750,000.00 per year
  • Average salespeople earn $150,000.00 to $350,000.00 per year
  • It takes about 2 years to learn the business and start earning 6 figures

You will receive the most advanced training program in the industry, providing hands-on experience in outbound sales, prospecting, and transaction qualification.

What We Do

  • We provide equipment financing and operating capital solutions
  • We serve small to medium sized businesses
  • We work directly with vendors who sell equipment

Transaction Size

  • Most our transactions range from $5,000.00 to $250,000.00 (this is our market niche about 90% of our business)
  • We also have great programs available from $250,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 (about 10% of our business)
  • We have also funded multi million dollars transactions from $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 (not our market niche- every now and then we do a transaction in this range)

Our Focus

  • Vendor programs
  • Application only financing solutions up to $250,000.00
  • All credit types, A to D credits
  • Start Up businesses
  • Businesses other finance companies have turned down. We find a way to get them approved and funded

The Opportunity

You will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by connecting with:

  • Business owners who need financing for their business
  • Vendors who sell equipment and want to offer financing solutions to their business customers

You will learn about their financing needs and present the best finance solutions on the market. For motivated sales professionals, this role offers uncapped growth potential and long-term career stability.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary plus commission to start and eventually when you are ready you have an option to go commission only. (Not required)
  • Base salary: $60,000.00 annually to start
  • Sales commissions on every transaction you close and fund
  • Opportunity to earn 50% of the gross margin as a commission-only salesperson once volume is consistent and you feel confident and ready.

Expected Earnings

  • Year 1: $70,000.00–$100,000.00
  • Year 2: $100,000.00–$150,000.00
  • Year 3 and beyond: $150,000.00–$350,000.00+
  • Top Producers: $350,000.00–$750,000.00 (Commission Only)

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)

  • Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day using CRM-generated lead lists (After 6 months of consistent prospecting, calling activity shifts to more inbound than outbound)
  • Proactively introduce Matrix Business Capital’s equipment financing and operating capital programs to business customers and vendors who sell equipment to business customers.

Lead Qualification & Discovery

  • Assess business needs, credit profile, and funding objectives
  • Determine alignment with Matrix’s ideal customer profile

Sales Messaging & Value Presentation

  • Deliver scripted and consultative sales presentations
  • Clearly articulate the value and benefits of financing solutions

Objection Handling & Relationship Building

  • Professionally address objections and respond to questions
  • Build credibility and trust with prospects

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Build your database using Salesforce.com
  • Document all activity, notes, outcomes, and next steps
  • Conduct post-funding quality assurance calls
  • Identify repeat and referral opportunities

Qualifications

  • Must be an “A” Player who is Hungry, Humble, and Smart
  • Must value delivering outstanding 5 star service to clients and vendors
  • Required bachelor’s degree from a reputable 4-year college.
    (Industry or similar work experience may be considered)
  • Must have a good personal credit score.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Available to work at the office
  • Able to manage high-volume calling, texting, and emailing (100+ per day)
