We are seeking 2 Experienced Evening Cleaners to join our skilled team at Westfield, Riccarton - to start around 26 January 2026.

You will be cleaning glass within the Mall, cleaning toilets, bathrooms, floors, bins etc and operating ride-on cleaning machinery, detail cleaning and refreshing consumables - so your attention to detail is a MUST!

The vacancies are:

Vacancy 1 = 16.5 hours/week

Friday .... 9.30pm-3am

Saturday .... 8pm-1.30am

Sunday .... 8pm-1.30am

You must be available for all shifts for Vacancy 1

About you:

• Must be at least 18 years of age due to health and safety policies.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
• Have a valid Driver’s License or live within close walking distance to Westfield Mall - as public transport is not available at this time of the day.
• Ride on Machinery experience.
• Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check.
• Physically fit to do the job - regularly lifting 10-20kg.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Good attention to detail.
• A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.
• You must have good English communication skills, as all instructions and training are in English only.

About the role:

• Perform a wide range of cleaning duties to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the shopping mall.
• Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and techniques to handle specific cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with the Contract Manager and other stakeholders to address any specific cleaning requirements or concerns.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring an adequate stock is always held.
• Assist with other cleaning duties and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself, your team, and Mall visitors.
