Events Manager

ISS STOXX is seeking an Events Manager to join our EMEA marketing team. This role will initially dedicate approximately 70% of time to managing and executing marketing events across the region, gradually expanding into broader marketing responsibilities during off-peak seasons. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and German, with proficiency in a third European language considered a strong asset.

This position offers a dynamic opportunity to support flagship initiatives, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the growth of our index business in EMEA. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events across EMEA, including logistics, vendor management, branding, and post-event reporting

• Marketing Support: Assist in campaign execution, content creation, and digital marketing activities during non-event periods

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of marketing initiatives
  Project Management: Maintain timelines, budgets, and documentation for marketing activities

• Multilingual Communication: Support localization of marketing materials and communications across multiple languages

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event coordination or generalist roles

• Fluent in German and English; proficiency in a third European language (e.g., French, Italian, Dutch) is a plus

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment

• Experience with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Illustrator, CMS systems) is an advantage

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Familiarity with AI tools to support event communications, reporting, and workflow efficiency
