Executive Sous Chef for BE Resorts Mactan in Punta Engaño, Lapu-Lapu City.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will oversee food production and quality, ensuring our resort delivers exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a leader committed to improving food quality, driving sales, and managing costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Production & Quality Control:
• Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring dishes meet established quality and presentation standards.
• Innovate and enhance menu offerings to align with guest preferences and market trends.
• Hygiene & Compliance:
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Monitor compliance with resort policies and culinary regulations.
• Cost Management:
• Manage kitchen budgets, minimizing waste while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality, cost-effective ingredients.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular training sessions to uphold high standards of preparation and service.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Ensure timely service of dishes across all outlets, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
• Manage kitchen operations, including staff schedules and inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu development, and kitchen operations.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Certification in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
• Commitment to excellence in guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
