Experienced Barista

Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
• Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash responsibly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote special offers or new products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cashiering processes and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in the role.
• Must be willing to work on weekends
