Remote Facilities Engineer (Philippines-Based)

We’re an established building management company in Australia, looking for a Facilities Engineer based in the Philippines to join our growing remote team. This is a long-term, full-time role with plenty of responsibility and autonomy—perfect for a skilled facilities professional looking to play a central role in a dynamic business.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and maintain asset registers, maintenance schedules, and contract schedules for client sites.
• Monitor building systems remotely (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and coordinate contractor responses.
• Support the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes, and company safety policies.
• Maintain compliance records and reports for audits, inspections, and client submissions.
• Analyse facility data to identify opportunities for performance improvements and energy efficiency.
• Manage tender processes for maintenance contracts, including preparation, assessment, and documentation.
• Use CMMS (e.g., MYBOS) and SharePoint to manage cases, schedules, and documentation.
• Collaborate with building managers and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong and clear verbal and written communication.
• Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in facilities engineering, building services, or plant operations.
• Strong understanding of building systems and asset performance.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks, WHS legislation, and building codes.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Must be based in the Philippines and available during Australian business hours.

This is a contractor role – you will not be an employee of the company, but an independent service provider responsible for your own tax, insurance, and equipment.
