The Facility & EHS Intern supports the EHS Leader and Facility Specialist in maintaining and coordinating all the facility services, processes, systems, operations and contracts, with active involvement EHS topics.


Your day-to-day

  • Responsible for technical support of facility planning, design, construction and maintenance to achieve efficiency and cost objectives
  • Supports in designing building facilities, equipment and machinery of basic to moderate scope and complexity
  • Schedules and coordinates use of facility amenities such as meeting rooms
  • Supports in formulating and recommending changes in facilities management systems and procedures
  • Coordination of suppliers and contractors, and drafting and upkeep of POS and DUVRI safety documentation
  • Active involvement in the Plant transformation plan from an EHS and Facility standpoint

Who we are looking for

  • Technical background/experience in a similar field is ideal
  • Experience with managing safety and environmental topics
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
  • Expertise in applicable Italian regulations, including D. Lgs. 81/2008 (occupational health and safety), D.M. 37/2008 (systems and installations), D.P.R. 151/2011 (fire prevention), Technical Construction Standards (NTC 2018 and subsequent updates), D. Lgs. 152/2006 (environment), and local building regulations
  • Analysis of projects from technical, quality, compliance, and feasibility perspectives; experience with bill of quantities (Computo metrico) analysis
