We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of The Mercantile Hotel, located in the heart of Dublin City, and we’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Floor Staff to join our pre-opening team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something new and exciting, delivering top-tier service in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all pre-opening activities including training, setup of service areas, and familiarisation with menus and systems.
• Provide warm, efficient, and attentive service to guests in our restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
• Take and deliver food and drink orders with professionalism, accuracy, and a smile.
• Maintain clean and organised service areas in line with hotel standards.
• Be knowledgeable about menus, allergens, specials, and promotions to confidently assist guests with their choices.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Handle guest queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
• Uphold all health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar F&B or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
• A friendly, can-do attitude with a passion for great service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexible availability – including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a new and supportive team.

Pay: From €13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
