• Willingness to work Saturdays - would have Sunday and another day off. 5 Days a week position

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
• Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure proper documentation for each shipment
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate any issues or delays promptly to dispatch
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving and deliveries
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting packages, organizing deliveries, and moving freight as needed
• Load packages onto the vehicle in an organized manner to optimize route efficiency
• Use navigation tools to follow optimized delivery routes while adapting to real-time traffic conditions

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving expertise in busy environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving freight safely
• Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission capabilities
• Familiarity with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or other loading tools is a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory for all roles
• Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and navigation systems for efficient route planning
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift in various weather conditions

Pay: $180.00 - $210.00 per day
