With offices based in Cork, Kerry and Clare we're at the forefront of Solar PV solutions across Munster. As we enter into a phase of significant growth driven by the country's commitment to combat climate change, we're seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join our company.

Energywise Ireland are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Door‑to‑Door Sales Representative to join our growing domestic sales team. This role will involve engaging directly with homeowners in local communities, introducing Energywise Ireland’s Solar PV and EV charging solutions, and educating customers on the financial, environmental, and energy‑saving benefits available, including relevant SEAI grant supports. The successful candidate will play a key role in generating high‑quality leads, building trust with customers, and supporting homeowners in their journey towards more sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage domestic customers through door‑to‑door canvassing to identify needs, confidently present Solar PV and EV charging solutions, explain benefits and grant options, and convert interest into qualified sales leads while representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients interested in renewable energy solutions, specifically housing retrofit, heat pumps, electric vehicle charging installations and solar systems.
  • Initiate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including homeowners, business managers and owners, contractors, architects, and local government authorities, to generate leads and promote the benefits of energy-efficient solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on the technical aspects, financial benefits, and environmental advantages of implementing renewable energy solutions, tailored to their specific needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that outline the cost savings, return on investment, and long-term benefits associated with the adoption of renewable energy systems.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, while maintaining a customer-centric approach and ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions.
  • Continuously stay updated on the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency standards, and government incentives to effectively communicate the competitive advantages of the company's products and services.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of clients, leads, and ongoing projects, utilizing CRM software to track sales activities, monitor progress, and forecast future sales trends.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support to clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and fostering long-term relationships to promote client retention and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials that effectively showcase the company's renewable energy solutions and enhance brand visibility in the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency standards, and building regulations is desired.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Commercial & Agricultural industry knowledge is desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, field management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and the ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis for clients is an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet sales targets within designated timelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for sustainable energy solutions and a commitment to promoting environmental sustainability in the community.
