Field Superintendent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. We are looking for someone that has experience in NEW CONSTRUCTION (based on experience). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and be adept at coordinating various aspects of the construction process. This role requires effective communication, leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction practices and safety regulations.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines.
• Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Oversee budgeting and financial aspects of projects, including contracts and construction estimating.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets established standards and specifications.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
• Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, communication, and collaboration among team members.
• Provide training and supervision to field staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Implement effective project scheduling techniques to optimize workflow and resource allocation.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of pipeline projects.
• Familiarity with heavy civil construction practices is preferred.
• Experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
• Strong background in blueprint reading, quality control processes, and construction estimating techniques.
• Demonstrated ability in project management, supervising teams, and maintaining high standards of safety on-site.

Pay: From $54,237.38 per year
