Field Technician - Calbayog Area

Job Description

The Field Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and installation of kiosk machines within their assigned area. Reporting to the Area Maintenance Supervisor, the technician ensures the optimal performance and reliability of all kiosks, addresses technical issues promptly, and collaborates closely with various teams to deliver seamless self-service solutions to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field technical visits or kiosk deployments, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
• Manage relationships with collection and third-party service providers, acting as the primary point of contact during service operations.
• Work closely with the customer support team to address hardware concerns raised by clients and end users, ensuring swift resolution.
• Coordinate with the Area Maintenance Supervisor and Service Technicians during technical visits to troubleshoot and repair kiosk machines.
• Assist in training in-house and client maintenance support staff on proper kiosk operation and maintenance procedures.
• Oversee final quality control of all kiosks prior to release to clients and for internal deployments, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Conduct machine commissioning and installation, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Collaborate with the Area Maintenance Supervisor during all phases of the development life cycle to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Perform site inspections (ocular) to assess potential locations for new kiosk machine installations, ensuring suitability and optimal placement.
• Compliance with e-tap’s safety, security, and information security protocols.
• Perform other job-related functions or duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Engineering is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment, work in various environments, and travel frequently within the assigned area.

Professional Experience

• At least two years of experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
