Field Technician – On-Site Installation (Long Beach Area)

We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on individual to join our team as a Field Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site installation and basic maintenance of mini-servers at retail locations. These devices support cutting-edge AI technology that helps detect shoplifting in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail store locations across the Long Beach area
• Introduce yourself to store staff and request access to the internet router
• Connect our mini-server and follow step-by-step instructions from a remote technician
• Submit a brief report after each visit

Requirements

• Comfortable with basic tech setups (e.g., connecting to routers, following remote guidance)
• Reliable transportation within the Long Beach area
• Professional and courteous when dealing with store personnel
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Must have 1099 independent contractor status and be able to provide a completed W-9 form

Project Timeline
We are looking for someone available for occasional on-demand assignments, whether immediately or for future needs in the Long Beach area.

Schedule
Flexible hours, depending on store availability and technician's schedule.
