Finance Intern

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team on a 3-6 month internship. The successful candidate will be required to actively participate in various aspects of finance, including investment analysis, financial modelling, and process improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain valuable and relevant experience in finance.

You will dive straight into the activities of the organisation and be able to add value from day 1.

A successful internship could lead to a permanent role in the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on potential investment opportunities. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
• Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements within the finance department. Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• General Support: Assist in daily finance operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Recently completed an MBA, MFIN or Accountancy Qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial modelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of financial analysis tools and software.
• Familiarity with investment analysis and market research.

Pay: £29,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
