The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and finance operations, with a strong focus on managing Philippines-based bookkeeping and Accounts Payable (AP) teams while collaborating closely with onshore (US-based) stakeholders. This role will also directly handle US AP and bookkeeping processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment across global operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
2. AP & Bookkeeping Oversight (PH Team)
- Manage Philippines-based bookkeepers and AP staff
- Review transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure smooth AP processes (invoicing, payments, vendor management)
- Support team development and performance management
3. US Finance Operations
- Handle US accounts payable and bookkeeping activities
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
- Manage vendor payments, expense tracking, and reconciliations
4. Cross-Border Collaboration
- Partner with onshore finance teams and stakeholders
- Align offshore (PH) and onshore (US) accounting processes
- Act as a key point of contact between global teams
5. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements
- Provide insights to support business decisions
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget vs actuals
6. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency
- Support implementation of accounting tools and automation
- Ensure proper use of finance systems and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Experience in Accounts Payable and bookkeeping
- Experience managing or mentoring team members (preferred)
- Familiarity with US accounting standards (GAAP is a plus)
- Experience working with offshore/onshore teams is an advantage

NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES 15 DAYS A YEAR ON SITE | THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php100,000.00 per month
