Finance Transformation Business Product Manager - Regional Logistics

Department Operations
LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)
LocationSingapore

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:
The Shopee Regional Logistics team is committed to providing Shopee's users with the best e-commerce logistics experience in the most cost-effective way. Shopee operates extensive logistics and warehousing operations across multiple markets, each with distinct ecosystems, operating models, regulatory environments, and customer expectations. In this role, you will sit at the centre of that complexity, owning the product roadmap that determines how delivery cost, speed and reliability improve across the region.

This role exists because financial cost mastery at such a large scale of operations is a highly complex problem, cutting across complex system engineering, accurate data capture and robust operational processes. You will close the gap between what the warehouse and logistics network does and what the P&L reflects—building the product layer that provides close-to-real-time cost visibility across Shopee’s markets.
Job Description:
  • Working directly with local teams and regional leadership, you will set the product agenda—deciding what gets built, in what order, and why.
  • Architect the end-to-end in-house billing and accruals system - defining how events (deliveries, trips, returns, discounts) are accurately captured, validated and written to the ledger automatically
  • Deconstruct Profit & Loss (P&L) inaccuracies by tracing root causes across data capture, system mapping, timing mismatches, or contractual interpretation
  • Build automated reconciliation workflows (leveraging AI) that match operational records to financial entries at the line-item level, flagging discrepancies automatically
  • Optimise the accruals engine by partnering with data and engineering teams to apply Machine Learning-based cost prediction where actuals are delayed—improving forward P&L accuracy without waiting on courier invoices
  • Reconcile cross-market billing discrepancies by working directly with local finance, logistics ops, and external partners to align on cost definitions, service-level agreement (SLA) interpretations, and process standardisation
  • Drive User Acceptance Test (UAT) for finance product releases end-to-end: write test scenarios, coordinate execution across markets, and own the go-live decision
  • Monitor product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (cost accuracy, payment lead time, etc.) and close performance gaps with a data-backed proposal
  • Own the product roadmap for the in-house asset management system to trace the asset life cycle

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (Operations Management), Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Industrial System Engineering, or other Engineering degrees is preferred
  • Experience in product management or finance transformation is a plus
  • Strong problem solving skills in supply chain or finance domains. You are confident in system abstraction and first principles reasoning
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion independently
  • Able to communicate complex ideas concisely and effectively (both verbally and in writing), to stakeholders at all levels
  • Must be self-starter and a quick learner, independent and flexible, with strong customer focus
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytic skills with experience using quantitative tools are a plus
  • Willingness to travel to various warehouses and stations overseas to observe operations, implement features, and provide on-site support
