Finish Carpenter

We build secondary suites and are looking for a precision finishing carpenter to do finishing work such as putting in cabinets and countertops, walls and floors, basically all the carpentry oriented jobs.

Must also have some experience with light plumbing and electrical.

Flexible hours, must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Variety of locations

Should have some of your own tools.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all finishing work meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role involves working on various residential and commercial projects, focusing on the final touches that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of structures.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise finishing work including installation of trim, moldings, and cabinetry.
• Fabricate and assemble custom woodwork according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and dimensions.
• Perform caulking, siding installation, drywall finishing, and masonry work as needed.
• Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and square for optimal results.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
• Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required throughout the job site.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in carpentry techniques including fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Strong skills in caulking, siding, drywall finishing, masonry work, and roofing tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and execute projects based on technical drawings.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $21.07-$42.64 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
