Fire Alarm Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Fire, CCTV, and Security Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin.

Responsibilities

Design, Install, Commission, Maintain and Repair:

Intruder alarm systems (wired & wireless)

Fire detection and alarm systems (conventional & addressable)

CCTV systems (analogue & IP, wired & wireless)

Access control systems (analogue & IP, wired & wireless)

Gate automation and emergency lighting systems (advantageous)

Technical Duties:

Carry out detailed site surveys and deliver bespoke security solutions.

Configure and network CCTV systems, ensuring seamless integration with IT infrastructures (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).

Set up remote access for CCTV and intruder alarms.

Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve system issues while delivering top-class technical support.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry standards.

Deliver comprehensive end-user training.

Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Work both independently and within a team to meet daily targets and customer SLAs/KPIs.

Participate in an on-call rotation to deliver emergency support.

Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and health & safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years’ experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of electronic fire and security systems.

A verifiable work history in the industry.

Strong technical knowledge of fire and security system technologies.

Experience with leading fire system platforms (e.g., Advanced, Morley, Ziton, Aritech, CTEC, Hochiki, Apollo).

Experience with major security system platforms (e.g., Aritech, HKC, RISCO, GE, Dahua, Hikvision, Paxton, ACT).

Understanding of networking principles and system integration.

Experience with gate automation systems (an advantage).

Full clean driving licence.

Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (preferred).

Pay: €34,822.00-€79,537.62 per year
