As a floating Asst Manager, you will work between 2 of our stores. Training along with the Store Managers to know the job inside and out. Looking for an individual that wants growth in themselves and this Franchise. Being available in case there is a problem at 1 of the stores. Be a store trainer that will push staff to excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Interacts with crew members, customers, and vendors using “Tropitude” (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).

• Work in the Tropics! Join the fast growing franchise team in Tropical Smoothie.
• Delivers “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer that visits our café.
• Learn ordering (know how to decrease food costs/ smart forecasting)
• Schedules (controlling labor costs)
• Inventory (how to do an inventory and how to read the report / make decisions to reduce over used products.)
• Works with staff to increase food and safety standards.
• Mentor/coach staff on engaging customers with a great uplifting attitude and helping them understand why we do what we do.
• Assist the store manager in decisions for the store.
• Assist with Catering/events and how we can do local marketing.
• Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies.
• Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Café’s standards.
• Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
• Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer.
• Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand.
• Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the café.
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17 per hourBenefits:
