Palermo is a gem of Melbourne's restaurant scene, and undoubtedly one of Australia's finest Argentinian restaurants. Sitting at the foot of the Hardware Lane, our prime location means that the CBD is on your doorstep when it’s time to treat yourself in town!

We're looking for a Food & Beverage Salesperson who is available for approx 30-37 hours per week.

As a Food & Beverage Salesperson in our fast-paced environment, your day-to-day will involve welcoming and engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering an outstanding dining experience. You’ll confidently recommend dishes, upsell where appropriate, and ensure every table receives attentive and professional service. Whether you're serving on the floor or handling guest inquiries, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere. With opportunities to cross-train across different areas, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on guest interaction, and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic team.

Skills and Experiences:

The ideal candidate will have:

Availability for 30-37 hours per week.

•
Full working rights - Citizen or PR preferred, otherwise 2+ years left on a temporary visa

•
Proven FOH experience in a premium, fast-paced restaurant

•
A strong understanding of food & beverage service and customer interaction.

•
Ability to confidently operate a POS system and handle transactions accurately.

•
Strong upselling skills and a passion for creating great customer experiences.

•
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
