Cedar International Services is seeking a reliable, customer-friendly Food Prep & Stocking Assistant to support our small cafeteria team on a federal facility. This part-time role focuses on restocking shelves, assisting with simple food preparation, and helping the manager and head chef keep daily operations running smoothly. No late nights, no deep-kitchen experience required ? we will train the right person.

This is a great job for someone who enjoys teamwork, steady work, and a clean, predictable environment.

What You?ll Do
? Restock shelves, coolers, and supplies throughout the day
? Assist with basic food prep (chopping, portioning, assembling grab-and-go items)
? Keep work areas, counters, and equipment clean and organized
? Support meal service as needed during busy times
? Help with inventory and simple kitchen tasks
? Follow all safety, sanitation, and facility guidelines
? Provide friendly, helpful service to federal employees and guests
? Be a dependable member of a small, supportive team

What We?re Looking For
? High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
? Experience in food service or retail helpful, but we?re happy to train
? Positive attitude and willingness to learn
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team
? Good communication skills and reliable attendance
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
? Must be able to pass federal background requirements for site access
