Framing Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This position involves framing new structures, installing windows/doors. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Build and install structures such as frameworks, walls, and roofs according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and dimensions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
• Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance the durability and aesthetics of buildings.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials as required on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Proficient in blueprint reading to accurately execute designs.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
• Skilled in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
