Franchise Accounting Assistant Manager (Cpa) | Multi-Unit Retail & Franchise Operations

We are seeking a results-driven CPA to take ownership of franchise accounting, reporting, and compliance for a multi-unit retail and franchise network. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely collection of royalties, and seamless financial alignment between Head Office and franchise partners. This is an ideal role for a finance professional with franchise or multi-unit retail experience looking to step into a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for franchised stores, including royalties, franchise contributions, and marketing fund allocations
• Review, reconcile, and analyze franchise revenues and intercompany transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate financial submissions from franchisees
• Oversee tax compliance (VAT, withholding taxes) and support BIR reporting
• Lead audit preparation and address findings from auditors and regulators
• Coordinate with Operations, Legal, and Franchise Relations on financial matters
• Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure accurate reporting

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally in franchise, retail, or multi-unit operations
• Strong knowledge of PFRS, BIR compliance, and internal controls
• Leadership or team supervision experience is a plus
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
