We are expanding our network of experienced freelance professionals to support our growing portfolio of fire safety and regulatory compliance projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Coordinator with strong knowledge of Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) processes, Fire Safety and Shelter Department (FSSD) submissions, and regulatory compliance requirements in Singapore.

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between clients, consultants, and submission teams, ensuring projects progress smoothly from site assessment through to approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate fire safety projects from initial enquiry to submission and approval.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and compliance requirements.
• Meet clients to understand project scope and provide professional advice.
• Prepare quotations and recommend suitable submission strategies.
• Draft and prepare submission drawings for regulatory approval.
• Coordinate with Qualified Persons (QPs), Registered Inspectors (RIs), contractors, and clients.
• Monitor project timelines and follow up on submission progress.
• Attend site inspections when required.
• Assist in resolving technical and compliance-related issues.
• Ensure documentation is complete and submission-ready.

RequirementsMandatory

• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
• Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) applications
• FSSD / SCDF submissions
• Fire safety compliance consultancy
• Regulatory submission coordination
• Strong understanding of:
• Singapore Fire Code
• SCDF submission procedures
• Fire safety compliance requirements
• Commercial and industrial renovation projects
• Able to independently:
• Conduct site assessments
• Prepare quotations
• Draft submission drawings
• Coordinate projects with clients and consultants

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Familiar with fire safety submission requirements
• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Good report writing and documentation skills

Preferred

• Experience working with QPs, RIs, Interior Designers, or Contractors
• Existing network within the construction or fire safety industry
• Familiarity with HDB, BCA, URA, and SCDF requirements
