Full Job Description

The Front Desk Manager at Panther Gym is a highly friendly and courteous individual who consistently delivers first-rate service and fosters positive customer satisfaction and loyalty. The associate is responsible for creating a welcoming, clean and safe environment to help our members achieve their fitness goals. The role involves being a front desk expert and is crucial in assisting and supporting members and potential members, to ensure their experience with us is always positive and engaging. The Front Desk Manager must be adept at balancing multiple tasks with a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Assist members and competently answer member questions, resolve member issues or concerns, make updates to member information, sell memberships, services, products and amenities, etc.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge regarding memberships, as well as all gym services and amenities and are able to sell these products when opportunities arise.
  • Handle comments, suggestions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide polite and efficient telephone service. Calls should be answered promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information.
  • Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve customer concerns, ensuring a pleasant experience.
  • Ability to maintain the cleanliness of the club.
  • Support increasing sales by communicating and demonstrating benefits of products and special promotions to customers.
  • Answer customers' questions and give information regarding the business procedures and policies in a customer-friendly way.

Associate Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Solid work ethic with strong decision-making, problem resolution skills.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry but not required.
  • Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
  • Fosters teamwork.
  • Ability to manage people and communicate effectively.
  • Handles pressure well.
  • Knowledge in boxing or combat sports would be an added bonus!
