At Best Western, we believe great stays start at the front desk. We’re seeking a hands-on Front Desk leader who sets the tone for outstanding service, drives results, and ensures every guest feels genuinely welcomed and valued.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality, business, or management coursework is a plus.
- Minimum of two years of front desk experience with a solid understanding of hotel front office operations; prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Experience with brand standards and audits (Best Western or similar franchise brands) is highly desirable.
- Leadership & Team Development
- A proven ability to hire, train, coach, and develop front desk associates in alignment with Best Western service standards.
- Confident in staff scheduling, performance management, and fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
- Guest Experience Excellence
- Passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality guest service and protecting the Best Western brand reputation.
- Skilled at resolving guest concerns professionally and proactively, ensuring issues are addressed before departure.
- Understands the importance of guest satisfaction scores, reviews, and loyalty programs.
- Revenue & Operational Focus
- Strong understanding of rate strategies, selling techniques, promotions, and upselling to maximize revenue.
- Ability to manage departmental expenses, control costs, and operate within budgeted guidelines.
- Organization & Administrative Strength
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling daily front office reports, deposits, credit card adjustments, accounts receivable, and inventory tracking.
- Communication & Team Collaboration
- Clear, professional communicator who works effectively with guests, staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Able to lead by example and maintain open communication across the hotel.
- Technology & Systems Knowledge
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, internet-based tools, and hotel property management systems; experience with Best Western–approved systems is a plus.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new technologies and brand updates.
- Innovation & Accountability
- Continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the guest experience.
- Takes ownership of results and holds the team accountable to Best Western standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
