Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk. Hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30-4:30 PM and one Saturday a month from 8-12 PM.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Manage patient records and update information in the system
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in a dental or medical office setting
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Understanding of medical imaging and X-Ray procedures
- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations
- Having a dental x-ray license is a plus
- Knowledge of medical coding practices
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
