Job Description

Reports to: Business & HR Director

Position Summary:

Welcome visitors and answer incoming calls in a warm, pleasant and professional manner. Maintain a clean and neat reception area, handle specific resident services, and seek administrative support as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Customer Service

1. Possess and maintain knowledge of the Residence, its benefits, services provided, the customers, and employees.

2. Answer incoming calls, both internally and externally, in a warm, pleasant and professional manner.

3. Respond to all calls following proper telephone etiquette and taking detailed messages when appropriate.

4. Ensure that messages are relayed promptly to the intended person.

5. Greet all visitors, residents, family members, and employees in a warm and helpful manner.

6. Ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat and inviting.

7. Offer refreshments to visitors and make them feel welcomed and comfortable.

8. Coordinate appointments for residents requesting transportation or hairdressing services.

9. Coordinate and schedule for residents with guests for the dining room.

10. Provide other assistance with resident services as requested by supervisor.

Administrative

1. Receive and send packages for the Executive Director or other departments as requested by your supervisor.

2. Assist in preparing for new residents’ move-in as requested.

3. Assemble residence brochure packets and mail as requested.

4. Distribute mail to the Executive Director and other departments daily.

5. Keep accurate records of any resident charges for transportation or hairdressing services.

6. Assist the executive director and/ or other departments with additional administrative duties as assigned.

Physical Job Requirements

To fulfill job requirements, employee must be able to perform key physical task for extended periods of time.

In a typical eight- hour day, employee will:

  • Stand/walk up to two hours a day
  • Sit up to eight hours a day
  • Frequently lift/carry up to 30 pounds
  • Frequently kneel, bend, and reach

Concierge Job Description

Knowledge Requirements

· Telephone etiquette and customer service

· Thorough knowledge of the residence, residents, services provided, and employees

· Any additional required training

shifts will be

8:00am - 3:30pm and 3:30pm - 11:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed
