Role Overview
Love being in the thick of the action? Ready to lead with confidence and keep things running like clockwork? At QT Queenstown, we’re looking for a Duty Manager who thrives on responsibility, loves people, and knows how to make every guest feel like a VIP.
As Duty Manager, you’ll be the go-to person when executive management isn’t around. You’ll oversee Front Office operations, ensure smooth shifts, manage hotel security, and keep guests smiling while maximizing profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Office team – train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Guest Experience – greet guests with warmth, resolve issues promptly, and create memorable stays.
• Operational Oversight – ensure departments are staffed, VIPs are prepped for, and service standards are met.
• Financial Focus – help maximize occupancy and room rates while controlling costs.
• Problem Solver – handle complaints, manage crises, and keep everything running smoothly.
• Hotel Ambassador – represent QT with professionalism and positivity at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in Front Office or Duty Management within hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick, effective decisions.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
