Full Time Jewellery Sales Assistant

Greenes Jewellers is looking for a full-time Jewellery Sales Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone professional, reliable, and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in jewellery and a strong ability to provide excellent service in a retail environment.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will assist customers in-store, support daily sales operations, process transactions, help maintain displays, and provide knowledgeable advice on jewellery pieces. This role is ideal for someone with previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience who is confident working with customers and has good attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service and jewellery advice
• Assist customers with product enquiries, purchases, and aftercare information
• Process sales accurately through the point-of-sale system
• Maintain jewellery displays and ensure the shop floor is clean, organised, and well presented
• Handle customer information and sales details with accuracy and confidentiality
• Support stock control and stock management tasks
• Assist with general day-to-day retail duties as required

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of jewellery
• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and confidence using retail systems, email, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn and use point-of-sale systems and stock management software
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when processing sales and customer information
• Confident, well-presented, and professional
• Reliable, organised, and trustworthy
• A genuine interest in jewellery and helping customers choose special pieces

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be warm, approachable, and confident speaking with customers. They should have a good understanding of jewellery, be comfortable handling valuable pieces, and be able to work carefully and accurately in a busy retail environment.

Schedule

Full-time position.
Weekend availability may be required.
