(Gc) Assistant Chemist / Chemist / Senior Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting Gas Chromatography (GC) using GC techniques and instruments.
• Perform calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of GC instruments.
• Develop and validate analytical methods using GC.
• Analyze samples to determine the composition of various substances.
• Interpret chromatograms to identify peaks and quantify compounds.
• Interpret and report results accurately and timely, maintain detailed records of all analysis performed including raw data.
• Complete all laboratory reports as applicable.
• Provide training to laboratory analysts following the standard of ASTM, IP, ISO methods.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Understand and keep updated with all laboratory safety, reporting techniques and analysis methods.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Science / Chemistry or related field.
• Equivalent work experience in OGC industry.
• Understand ASTM standards and procedures.
• Protocol, procedure, and safety oriented.
• Ability to perform analytical tasks.
• Must be able to differentiate colors accurately by sight.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while directing numerous projects concurrently with different deadlines.
• High tolerance for job pressure.
• Ability to verify and check results during and after office hours.eekend, and holidays, based on customers’ requirements.

• Able to work independently and a good team player.
