General Carpenter / Apprentice

The Carpenter is responsible for, and performs a wide variety of duties related to, including, but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

• Be a team player
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools of all types: hammer, drills, skill saws, jack hammer
• Install of windows & doors, roof trusses, sheathing, hardware, tarping
• Build weather and safety protection
• Framing of walls and floors
• Erect scaffolding and ladders
• Build and install stairs
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Ability to read building plans is an asset
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
