About the Role
Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a dentist role in Co. Mayo. This practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join their dental practice, which follows an integrative approach to dental health and is committed to mercury- and metal-free dentistry. Their philosophy focuses on the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing, using non-toxic materials and evidence-informed, minimally invasive care. This role is ideal for a dentist who values whole-person care, patient education, and working within a modern practice that prioritises long-term health outcomes and informed patient choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dental care within an integrative, mercury- and metal-free treatment model
- Diagnose and manage oral health conditions using non-toxic restorative materials
- Deliver preventative and conservative treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Educate patients on oral-systemic health connections, treatment options, and preventative strategies
- Maintain accurate, ethical, and compliant clinical records
- Collaborate closely with hygienists, dental nurses, and the wider care team
- Uphold high standards of infection prevention and clinical governance
- Comply with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements of the Dental Council of Ireland

How to Apply

- Degree in Dentistry recognised by the Dental Council of Ireland
- Current registration with the Dental Council of Ireland

- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practice
