General Merchandise Cashier, Privateers Hd

Privateers Harley-Davidson in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is an authorized dealer of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and products. We currently have an opening in our General Merchandise Department for a General Merchandise Cashier.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers

• Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner

• Handle phone transactions quickly and courteously

• Assist customer with their selection of merchandise and fashion feedback

• Notify customers when special orders or back-ordered items are received

• Accept cash and credit card payments for merchandise purchases. Keep cash register accurate

• Maintain clean and current displays of merchandise which appeals to customers

• Maintain updated customer mailing lists

• Assist with set-up, organization and staging of special events such as Open Houses, HOG activities, fashion shows, etc.

• Complete training, as required

Qualifications:

• Friendly, outgoing personality

• Experience in customer service is considered an asset

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
