The opportunity
Are you passionate about data, GIS, and improving asset information systems? Join a collaborative and forward-thinking team in a fixed-term position for 12-months, where your analytical expertise will help shape better infrastructure and asset management outcomes for our community.
About the role
Working alongside our asset information custodians, engineers, analysts and asset managers, you will play a key role in supporting the integrity, accuracy and performance of our infrastructure asset information systems.
As our GIS and Data Analyst, you will extract, analyse and present meaningful asset data from a range of systems including Asset Management Systems, GIS platforms and related software applications. Your work will support informed decision-making and contribute to best practice asset management across Council.
To set you up for success, you’ll have
Proven experience in data analysis, data management or a similar analytical role
Strong database interrogation and information management skills
Experience working with GIS platforms and asset management systems
The ability to interpret, manipulate and present complex data accurately
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
