Golf Pro Shop Attendant

Gibbston Valley Wines is expanding its experiences with the opening of a 9-hole golf course, and we are seeking a Golf Pro Shop Attendant who loves the game and delivering outstanding customer service.

Here is what the role involves: You will be the first point of contact for golfers, creating a friendly, professional, and memorable experience for all our members and guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcome members and guests, manage bookings, check-ins, and payments.
• Assist with enquiries about tee times, merchandise, and course information.
• Support the golf shop retail, including POS transactions, stock management, and merchandising.
• Help with daily golf operations, events, tournaments, and scorecard preparation.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained and report any hazards.

About you:

• Be the friendly face welcoming golfers to our brand-new shop.
• Organised and customer-focused
• Strong communication skills
• POS/cash handling experience.
• Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts.
• Golf, retail, or hospitality experience and knowledge of golf rules is a bonus!
