Group Financial Controller

This role is responsible for the controlling of a portfolio of operating units/countries of the group and will support with the group’s reporting and planning processes.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of the operating units/countries; Proactive tracking of variances versus budget and forecasts
• Identify and recommend measures to achieve performance improvements to country and group management with a regular follow-up on such measures and initiatives
• Support the group’s management and external reporting cycle including the development of new reports and analyses and interaction with the external auditors
• Support the group-wide planning processes, such as forecasts, budget and multi-year-planning
• Collaboration with colleagues across multiple disciplines and building relationships to leverage information and insights
• Regular and proactive communication on work progress, concerns, and questions
• Direct interaction with senior leadership across the organization and being a credible sparring partner for the operating units/countries

• University Degree in Business Administration/Management or Finance
• Experience within a controlling function
• Proficient in time management; ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Team player within the Controlling department and Finance department in general
• Analytical approach and curious mindset
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats and present information appropriately based upon the target audience
• Fluency in English, both in speaking and writing (another “group” language would be a plus)
• Thorough understanding of the general principles of reporting systems would be a plus
• Knowledge of consolidation principles would be a plus
• Limited travel required
