As Group lead OTD Central, you are responsible for translating the company’s vision into an effective maintenance strategy in the factory. In this role, you support maintenance and production by ensuring optimal equipment performance, technical reliability and organizational efficiency. You lead preventive maintenance programs, manage budgets and resources, and identify cost-saving opportunities. You drive process improvements on factory wide processes and stay ahead of emerging maintenance technologies. Collaboration across departments (global) and development of your team are key to achieving operational excellence and product quality.
Your role:
The implementation of safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities, prioritizing a safe working environment and adherence to industry standards.
Manage and lead the engineering department (OTD-C) by ensuring effective coordination and leadership.
Lead and coach a team of maintenance specialists, ensuring continuous development of technical knowledge and skills.
You will chair the Maintenance managers’ meeting factory wide
You will chair the TPM Pillar Team
Oversee maintenance budgets and develop multi-year overhaul and replacement plans, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Own the maintenance process including KPI dashboards
Develops and implements comprehensive maintenance strategy programs aimed at minimizing equipment downtime and prolonging the lifespan of assets.
Participates in specific engineering projects to provide engineering expertise, support and to gain further knowledge.
Prepares and presents reports to both senior management and subordinates as needed, facilitating clear communication and informed decision-making across all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with other departments to support production schedules, facility operations, inventory management and other projects and interact with customers as needed.
Stays updated on emerging maintenance technologies and supports in mapping them into product development roadmaps and share this in-depth knowledge factory wide.
You will participate and lead PPP innovation projects.
You are right fit if:
Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in areas such as high-volume assembly-type Industry in Supply Chain related functions or equivalent.
Strong knowledge / expert in TPM is a prerequisite
Certifications: Lean Leadership Training/Certification or equivalent.
You enjoy working with technology both independently and as part of a team. You can maintain and create overview in complex situations.
You have organizational talent and can lead effectively. In addition, you possess strong analytical skills and a solid sense of standards/responsibility.
You are decisive, assertive, communicative, and skilled at influencing others.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
