Gym Manager

Coaching

Lead/assist 4 sessions per day, with 2 days off

Sales

1. Manage the sales pipeline: prospecting, leads, trials, membership, retention.

- Prospecting: make sure enough channels are employed to generate leads

- Leads: ensure adequate amount of leads are coming in. Monitored via Glofox.

- Trials: ensure leads are converting into trials (with 3 sessions being attended)

- Memberships: ensure trials are being converted into memberships.

- Retention of memberships: ensure memberships are being retained and limit turn over of new

memberships.

- Understanding of the sales administration process and staying on top of all reporting to carry

out the above tasks

2. Ensure monthly revenue/profit targets are being met as agreed upon by ownership.

Marketing/Business Development

1. Manage the marketing and business developments functions of the business, ensuring:

-unique studio assets are created quarterly for use in digital advertising and social media

- develop marketing strategy and budget and assist in execution

-quarterly marketing plan is inline with brand image and local market guidelines

- there are sufficient activations and partnerships that align with core business and provide synergy or

value to the brand and its members

- network within the industry and stay on top of trends and competition

Administration

1. General

- Conduct quarterly member feedback surveys

- provide monthly management report to ownership (template provided)

2. Glofox

- ensure all systems are functioning and well maintained (MIS and App)

- liaise with Glofox support/management to correct and issues immediately

- train new staff and ensure they are competent to execute admin duties of a coach

- run various Glofox reports and stay update on the weekly trends within the studio

3. Payments

- ensure all processes and systems as set up, functioning and well maintained

- liaise with Accounting daily or as required to verify all payments

- manage and take responsibility for all cash transactions and financial administration

4. Expenses

- ensure all processes and systems as set up by Accounting are functioning and well maintained

- liaise with Accounting daily or as required to verify all expenses

- manage and take responsibility for all expenses and ensure proper documentation is acquired

and filed.

5. Critical Documents and Work Permits

- act as an agent of the company and when required carry out any tasks that need to be done in

order to secure important documentation for the business as directed by the ownership

- secure all permits from relevant authorities for any events or on-site work.

6. Staff

Ensure:

- weekly schedule is sent out every Saturday

- all coaches sign in/out for every shift

- manage and approve leave requests

- track annual leave and sick days

- all coaches execute and pass relevant standards

- all staff are legally employed

- understand the business’s obligations to its staff and ensure all responsibilities are met

Operations

1. Staff:

- ensure there is 1 coach for every 15 members and 2 coaches for 15+ members of every session

- interview, hire, train, and manage/discipline all staff members under the defined jurisdiction

Operations Manual.

- ensure all staff are in uniform/wearing appropriate attire and maintain excellent hygiene

2. Studio

Ensure:

- all equipment is available, in good working order and well maintained (procure replacements

as required),

- the studio is well maintained and clean at all times,

- the maintenance of all items essential to business,

- liaise with ownership to carry out any modifications or improvements to the studio,

- all technology and systems are up to date and working for every session,

- newsletter is sent out as per the agreed yearly intervals with ownership

- Community Event is held monthly

Manual

- manage all communications functions and ensure an excellent response time for all enquires

or contact from members

- plan and execute major events

- the studio is compliant with health and safety measures

- the studio has a fully stocked first aid kit, functioning AED and at least one trained and certified

first aid responder is scheduled for each shift

3. Members

- act as the main focal point for any disputes, grievances, feedback or critical decisions

- always conduct yourself professionally in front of members as you are the face of the studio

- ensure members are receiving an exceptional experience every time they attend a

session

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
