Hairdresser

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hairdresser to join our growing salon team. This is a full-time permanent position with an opportunity for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments
• Perform advanced services such as keratin, hair botox, and chemical treatments
• Consult with clients to recommend suitable styles and treatments
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and salon presentation
• Deliver excellent customer service and build ongoing client relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a hairdresser/hairstylist
• Strong skills in colouring, cutting, and modern styling techniques
• Experience with treatments such as keratin, rebonding, or similar is preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Relevant qualification (NZQF Level 4 or equivalent) preferred but not essential

Employment Details:

• Full-time role (minimum 30 hours per week)
• Pay rate: $25 – $31.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Location: Christchurch
• Must be available on weekends and flexible hours
