Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. This pivotal role requires a passionate culinary professional with a flair for fine dining, exceptional leadership abilities, and extensive experience in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, service, and safety standards, ensuring every guest receives outstanding quality and service. Your leadership will inspire creativity, foster teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence.
Duties
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, including supervising kitchen staff and ensuring smooth shift management
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
- Manage inventory control, procurement, and food cost management to optimize resources and minimize waste
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities
- Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to deliver exceptional event experiences
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth and maintain high performance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management
- Extensive supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings
- Knowledge of dietary department protocols and catering operations
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food handling, and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively
- Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP or equivalent certifications
- Experience in banquet services, food service management, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Excellent cooking skills across a variety of cuisines along with a solid understanding of hospitality principles
