Come and work in a small but busy ward where no two days are the same, providing a high level of care to our local community. The successful candidate will be working in a supportive environment, with access to HCA focused education. When not at work enjoy the beauty of Taupo and all that it has to offer.

About the Role
As an HCA you will be expected to work alongside the Registered Nurses, providing a wide range of nursing care, to a range of different patients. This may be assisting patients with activities of daily living needs to helping them reach their rehab goals. You will be part of the nursing and broader health team, working with patients and their whanau.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of nurses and HCAs provide 24 hour care to the 15 bedded general ward in the Taupo Hospital.

About you
As a Health Care Assistant you would ideally:
- Hold a NZ certificate in Health and Wellbeing at a level three or above.
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Be a great team player with good communication skills
- Be patient and caring
- Be enthusiastic as well as flexible in your attitude towards work
