Health & Safety Manager

SK9 are partnering with a well-renowned construction specialist on an exciting new opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team in West Dublin.

This is a brand-new role, created to further strengthen the company’s commitment to excellence in safety, compliance, and best practice across all projects.

The Opportunity:

As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll lead the company’s health and safety strategy, ensuring full compliance with Irish legislation, client requirements, and construction regulations (PSDP and PSCS). You’ll play a pivotal role in driving a culture of safety, advising senior management, and implementing proactive initiatives that make a visible impact on site and within the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a comprehensive health and safety function across the business.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and codes.
• Work closely with project teams and management to embed best practice.
• Lead on audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert advice and training to management and staff.
• Support organisational change and safety innovation.

Ideal Profile:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction.
• Strong working knowledge of PSDP/PSCS requirements.
• Proven ability to influence and lead teams in a growing environment.
• Qualifications in Health & Safety Management or equivalent (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, Level 7+).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisation skills.
