We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to the safe and successful delivery of our civil engineering projects,.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of health and safety documentation for technical bids and tenders
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential health and safety risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the development of technical bid documents, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare safety plans for upcoming projects
- Monitor health and safety performance across projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Keep up to date with current Irish health and safety legislation, industry standards, and best practices
- Attend site visits and project meetings to gain a thorough understanding of on-site requirements and potential safety concerns
Key Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Health & Safety or Civil Engineering is essential
- Minimum 3 years’ Health & Safety experience in Ireland
- Proven track record in the civil engineering industry and commercial projects
- Solid understanding of Irish health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
