We’re Hiring: Health & Safety Officer – Dublin

Hyland Group is seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Officer to join our growing team in Dublin.

As part of our continued expansion across Ireland, we’re looking for a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and wellbeing across all Hyland Group projects.

The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting our project teams to ensure safe systems of work, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture across our sites in the Dublin region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety legislation and company standards.

Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site teams.

Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.

Assist project teams in preparing risk assessments and method statements.

Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.

NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential.

Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and best practices.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Full driving licence required.
