Responsibilities: What You Can Expect: Heart of the House internship candidates at Brittain Resorts & Hotels can look forward to obtaining invaluable knowledge and hospitality skills in Myrtle Beach, SC, a bustling coastal metropolis that welcomes over 20 million visitors each year! Every internship offered can be customized to fit the requirements of each candidate’s program. All internships offered by Brittain Resorts & Hotels are compensated, so interns can earn while they learn and enjoy all of the perks of a summer on the shore. Candidates who have completed internships will be considered for permanent positions and advancement opportunities within the company.
What you will be doing: Internship candidates will be exposed to the daily operations within one of the resort’s most important departments, Housekeeping. Associates will gain invaluable experience by working various positions such as room attendant and houseperson. Specifically, Heart of the House associates will be responsible for providing Service Excellence and Stewardship to ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Gain a look behind-the-scenes look with the housekeeping managers to see how they manager their department (ex. inventory, payroll, scheduling, etc...). Qualifications: Why Choose Brittain?
