Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC-related issues. The technician will work on residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance of heating and cooling systems.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
• Perform equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
• Proficiency in construction techniques related to HVAC installation.
• Service technician experience with a focus on field service operations.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations.
• Understanding of HVAC design principles and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Experience with appliance repair and general equipment repair tasks.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently in various environments.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
