Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician and/or Maintenance Technician to join our team. Pay is based on experience level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and hands-on experience with advanced HVAC/R systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure proper installation and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Conduct equipment repair using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
• Diagnose issues with HVAC/R systems and implement effective solutions promptly
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all work performed
• Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Operate field service vehicles safely while traveling to various job sites

Experience

• Proven service technician experience in HVAC or related mechanical fields
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is preferred
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters
• Prior experience working in field service environments involving property maintenance or appliance repair is desirable
• Valid driver’s license required; experience driving commercial or service vehicles preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $28.77 per hour
